Montsablé Pinot Noir 2023
$29.00
IGP Haute Vallée de L'Aude, Southern France
Producer: Terres Fidèles
The Pinot Noir is harvested from cooler vineyards in the Haute Vallée d'L'Aude Altitude, climate and limestone rich soils combine to produce outstanding fruit, with which we create wines of elegance and freshness.
Cherry red colour, intense dark cherry and blackberry fruit on the nose, a rich round palate with notes of red summer fruits such as raspberry as well as darker berried fruit. Nicely integrated oak adds to the structure, and lends a spiciness to the long finish.

91 Points - The Real Review (Bob Campbell MW)
Supple, elegant wine with good varietal definition. Appealing purity with cherry, strawberry and fresh herb flavours enhanced with a subtle seasoning of spicy oak. Light, fresh and deliciously drinkable.

91 Points - Wine Orbit (Sam Kim)
Nice to see a Pinot from France, from outside Burgundy. An appealing garnet hue. The nose gives us notes of coffee grinds, warm earth, sour cherries and raspberries. An attractive array of flavours which blend together well. All neatly balanced. Good grip and medium length here. Hints of undergrowth, especially towards the finish.

90 points Gold Medal – ‘Exceptional’ Bevtest (tastings.com)
Light ruby color. Aromas of cranberry and pomegranate, tart red cherry, mushroom and forest floor, and pipe tobacco with a medium-full body and a medium-long red bramble berries, red cherry, fresh garden herbs, leather, toasted nutmeg, and and forest floor finish. A perfect Tuesday burger companion, this is an absolutely lovely, fresh Pinot Noir.
