Great Escape is our benchmark, cool climate Chardonnay produced from fruit grown in the Eden Valley's elevated vineyard sites which allow for a long ripening period which helps to maintain the natural sugar and acid balance of the grape. With moderate alcohol, focussed, crisp citrus fruit and a mouthwatering finish, this is an accomplished, truly modern style of this noble variety.

93 points & Special Value Halliday Wine Companion (Marcus Ellis) - Barrel and egg fermented with native yeast, blocked mlf, regular stirring. There’s a lot of chardonnay kerb appeal to this, with white nectarine, praline, nougat, a toasted nuttiness, baked pastry and preserved ginger. The lees work has built some of that flavour detail, and it has also contributed a well-judged creamy, textural palate, while finishing with pleasing vigour. A chardonnay of flavour and verve.
